Description
Set in Bethlehem in 1920. A sense of foreboding hangs over Palestinian society under British rule. Samira Lafiah, a progressive young woman is in conflict with her prominent, traditional family who expect her to accept an arranged marriage. Can she defy her family and her society's rigid conventions and discover love in a year full of turmoil.
